Mad Dog Scramble
Welcome back to another Mad Dog Scramble. This year's event will be held on Sunday, October 30, 2011 from Park Lane Public School. (Same as the last few years) Race kit pick up will commence at 9:30 am and the race starts at 11 am. As everyone knows, the runners will be sent off in waves, and each wave will have progressively faster runners in them. That means that the fastest runners have to wait for up to 20 minutes, and run a bit farther. But it is the first person across the finish line who wins. And as always, prizes will be given out to the first, second and fourth male and female finishers. Third place gets mentioned, but sorry, no prize. That doesn't mean you still can't win a prize as there will be the usual array of draw prizes for anyone to win. Also, as in past years, there will be a Puppy Scramble for children 6 years of age and under. It is free. It takes a few minutes and is held 10 minutes prior to race start (10:50 am). All for $30.00.
