With the wonderful summer weather it's that time of year for me to start fundraising for my 4-day Tour For Kids (www.tourforkids.com) cycling adventure August 19-22. This is my 6th year doing the Tour For Kids 4 day cycling adventure - giving back doing something I love...putting my cycling legs to work for childhood cancer. I'll be riding again with my husband Tim Klassen. Please help me to give kids living with cancer a chance at just being kids again, by attending summer camp or a year-round camp program.

What's unique is the exclusive focus on childhood/adolescent cancer - a drastically under-funded area - and the fact that 100% of all donations go directly to the cause.

My minimum fundraising requirement is $1,250. I have been fortunate to have surpassed this goal significantly each and every year thanks to the support of friends, family and colleagues like you. I hope I can count on your support this year to help me raise closer to $5,000.

Here's how your donation can make a difference:

$25 sends a child to a Sunday youth group
$75 sends a child to camp for a day
$100 sends a child to winter camp
$200 sends a child to youth group for the year
$400 sends a family to a Fall family weekend
$550 sends a child to year-round programming (e.g. clinic, youth camp, camp
weekends)
$750 sends a child to camp for a week

Tax receipts will be issued for donations of $20 or more.
